After studying art at the University of Texas at Austin, I got my first job in Hollywood on an independent feature film starring Gary Busey (yes, that Gary Busey). The film didn't do so well, but I learned quickly on the job and caught on at Rick Baker's Cinovation Studios. Mentored by some of the best artists in the world, my lessons in design, creativity, and visual presentation took shape as I began to explore growing interests in non-scripted entertainment, documentary film, and reality television.
From there, I earned an opportunity to produce and develop a pilot for MTV, where I stayed for the next several years, producing, writing, and developing several hit shows such as "Duets", "The Tom Green Show", "G's to Gents", "Score", and "Wanna Come In?". Since then I've continued to branch out, producing over a thousand hours of reality television for MTV, VH1, Discovery, Lifetime, and HBO to name a few including "Face Off", a make-up special FX competition series currently airing on the Syfy network.
In addition to my successful television career, I've continued to pursue other creative outlets in the entertainment industry such as music videos and photography. With artist Kevin Willis, I founded Old World Monkey, a production company which has created original music videos and artistic projects for the likes of Modest Mouse ("Satellite Skin"), and "Al Roker Face", a Lady GaGa parody for FunnyorDie.com.
